Sydney Opera House
A paper diorama commissioned by The Sydney Opera House for their Open Day 2010 poster. SO proud to have done a job for this amazing cultural institution!!
You can click on the poster to see it in more detail.
Me with my model below >> So much fun!
A behind the scenes shot >
Plus! There is a great little stop frame animation HERE using all the little pieces by Hackett Films. Wonderful stuff.
Below: My fav picture of the model we shot – I love the colour and the lines of this image. It feels 50/60’s and in the original spirit of the building.
National Australia Bank sponsored a ‘Paper Sculpture Tent’ on the day itself. Amazing!! Families came with their little tackers and we all made paper models and pop-up cards that I had designed especially for the kids!
Only problem >> it was a miserable day!!
It was dry inside tho!
It got a bit rowdy when The Cubs arrived.
The Opera Theater stage with performances!
The Concert Hall.
Such a fantastic experience. It made me proud to be a Sydneysider!
